Sky on PC with valid subscription card

I have a pc setup with a dvb-s card hooked up to my dish, also I have a regular sky setup. I can currently tune to the sky channels on my pc, but obviously, most are encrypted. I think there is a way to decrypt sky via a plugin for ProgDVB or similar, which requires a phoenix card interface connected to a rs232 port, and a valid, original subscription card slotted into the phoenix.

I have all of these requirements except the plugin for ProgDVB, does anyone have it or can supply any further details?

N.B. I think this solution is freely available on the "dreambox" or "dbox2", but that's not a pc based solution, which I would prefer.
 
Not sure that there is a CAM emulator for the NDS card, certainly haven't seen one around, but I guess that someone will enlighten us if there is. :)
 
I've read quite a few thing of people doing it on dreambox/dbox in either uk, italy or australia (nds in each case), look up a thing called "GBox", so i'm pretty sure it's possible, just not sure there is a plugin for pcs.... just look in the dreambox section of this site for people doing it
 
Oh, there is no question about there being a solution for the Dreambox and has been for a while, but there does not seem to be one for the PC card, don't know why.
 
ok, there are a couple of pc based solutions, one is a plugin which works best with prog dvb,this works on the uk/italian/scandinavian variants only.
the other methods involve using a client server combo wincsc/n**cs
or a patched g**x version for windows.
