No, elements within B-Sky-B have not been kidnapping garden ornaments! Instead, they have just anounced a product that allows users to listen to any audio channel anywhere in the house using wireless technology.
"SKY today announced the launch of the Sky Gnome, a pyramid-shaped device, which will allow subscribers to listen to radio channels and the audio output of TV stations anywhere in the home or garden.
Expected to cost less than £100, it is targeted at families and sports fans who want to listen either to radio stations while others watch TV or keep in touch with live sport such as cricket even if they have to move about the house." ThisIsMoney
At the moment, it's not clear whether the device simply picks the audio off the back of the STB or is another satellite receiver in its own right. The suggested ability to watch one channel and listen to another implies the latter.
