i have programmed my sky remote to control my tv, but it will not adjust the volume or channel up & down but it does switch the tv on & off. has anyone got any ideas.

If your TV is a newish model, this may be the best you can do, there are more codes that you can try though.
When setting up the code, press off, but do not press select. Switch the TV back on and try TV, then Off again, if this turns it off, save it and try it for other functions.
