Sky showcases multiplatform distributionBSkyB has scored a first by broadcasting a live Barclays Premier League match simultaneously via digital television, the internet and mobile telephony.
The match, Wigan vs Middlesbrough, could be seen yesterday on Sky Sports in standard and high definition, as well as at SkySports.com and Sky Mobile TV.
Interactive coverage was also provided on DTV via Sky Sports Active.
As well as the live broadcast, Sky Sports used each digital platform to offer on-demand programming, with highlights offered on Sky Sports Active and Sky Anytime on PC, as well as Sky Mobile TV.
