Is Sky Sports 5 freely available to subscribers of Sky Sports 1-4 or is it paid extra or does it perhaps require extra activation?

We got it with a so called deal, from memory we signed up for a 2 year contract, we was out of contract at the time but still using sky, they gave us sky sports 5 for free and stopped charging us for the internet, my wife has gone to bed now, she will know better, she is in charge of sky, well she is in charge of everything :), if different I will post back tomorrow :).

I would have sooner kept out of contract, stopped sky internet gone with bt internet and had bt sports:).

It might be possible/a way round it, if he is getting the subscription from the uk, get the person to activate it, not knowing how your getting the subscription does not help us to help you,

Also if you state what games/whatever he wants to watch, we might be able to point you in another direction if he/she has a movable dish.
 
I've just found this on google, you don't need to take up the offer to get it, but it does need activation, obviously someone in the uk needs to do this.


To activate Sports 5 just call Sky (any department) and they just need to click a little button at the top of their screen when in your account to activate Sports 5. They will try to sell the broadband but just say you're in a contract and will think about it next year.
