Sky Store price increase

from today, the cost of film rentals were increased by 1 pound in the sky store (sky+hd box, now tv box, pc and other platforms)
typically:
library sd: 2.99
"on dvd" sd: 4.49
"on dvd" hd: 5.49

so here are the new prices:
"library" titles - sd £2,99, hd £3,49
new releases - sd £4,49, hd £5,49
offers - sd only £0,99
cinema releases - sd £8,99, hd £9.99

Thats why i use NetFlix, its cheaper than what Sky charge, even if the films aren't quite as new i can usually find something to watch if theres nothing on satellite.

If you want to watch a newer film you can just download it, its not exactly difficult to find most new releases if you look hard enough. Sky is a rip off, always has been always will be.
