Sky subscription upgrade + Trex 4.6

Hello,

I recently upgraded my Sky subscription to all 6 mixes (including the film and sport packs). These work fine via my digibox but I can't receive them via my Technotrend S2-3200 and Trex supermodule (loaded with predasaur 2.22).
All of the encrypted channels that I was previously subscribed to all still work. I've tried leaving my card in the digibox for a couple of days (tuned to Sky Sports 1) but it still doesn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Stophammer,
welcome to the forum.
The cam can only open the basic channels, not the premium channels, until you enter the serial number of the box your card is paired with.
As this is a subject that isn't usually discussed I will help you to get the information you require.

If you then open the read me file, inside, you will get all the information you require.

Thanks a lot for your help, I've got it sorted now anyway.

I updated the firmware on my cam and noticed that the NDS serial was still there so I presumed the cam had remembered it.

It transpires that this serial bears no relation to my actual box serial, as soon as I entered the proper one my new channels worked!

What puzzles me is why the encrypted channels that I was previously subscribed to worked with the incorrect serial. However this is academic now as it all works.

The basic channels will work regardless of whether the box is paired, it is only the Premium channels which need pairing.
