I keep hearing about need to have a quad/twin LNB for Sky+, but if I have 2 dishes with single LNBs both picking up 28 East can I feed both of these in to a Sky+ box and use it as if I were using a quad/twin LNB?

Ta for any help

sorry to hijack the thread

My parents are in the same scenario, 2 digital dishes. Sky viewing card in one box and no card in the other. They only watch the asian channels and have a sub for Sony & B4U, no english channel subscriptions.

If i get them a 2ndhand Sky+ box and stick the leads from both dishes into the box, will they be able to record programs from Sony / B4U on the Sky+ box ?

Not worried about series link etc, just recording individual programs rather than recording on vcr ?

Not sure whether Sky+ will work with those subscriptions, you may need to phone Sky to get the recording feature activated. :)
