I was looking at satbeams but it's not easyIt nicely shows you the size of the antenna you need for reception, for all 3 satellites. All you have to do is mark the satellite you are interested in on the map and you will find your city or location down on the map. It is very easy to use.
It won't show the UK beam as Portugal is too far out of the official footprint area. Best to get someone local who has experience with signals to advise on signal levels. It nicely shows you the size of the antenna you need for reception, for all 3 satellites. You need to remember the the beam doesnt end at the edge of the coloured area - thats just there to maintain the fiction the beam is restricted to the UK. It fades out over a few hundred miles. Some areas of Iberia do fine with the new generation of satellites, although we know signal levels on the south coast of Portugal & Spain are pretty hopeless on any sensible sized dishI am also more than 1000 km away from the UK beam and I already have a lock on a 1.5m Gibert antenna. With a Laminas 1.8m I range from 6.5db to 8db depending on the weather conditions. The signal is better in the evening hours and until the morning. I made a red dot of my location in the picture

You can see on satbeams what is the recommended antenna size to pick up the UK beam in Portugal SantarémYes, I understand what you wanted to say. Personally, I am satisfied because I have created reception in terms of coverage. There is satisfaction and joy in receiving as much as possible of what is outside the coverage. Now, what are the understandable sizes of antennas, there is a lot to talk about. Personally, I think I am somewhere in the middle of what is understandable with 1.8m. There are ideas about a larger antenna, but slowly with this
I in Lisbon use a 120 Cm and works fine, until the wind put it down. You can see on satbeams what is the recommended antenna size to pick up the UK beam in Portugal Santarém
Look at the map in my signature for a guide. Its a few years old now but it should give you an idea of where you need to start thinking. The nearest pin to you appears to be "near Tomar", and UK beam reception of the channels on Astra 2E was reported as intermittent on a 2.3m dish.I'm unable to use satbeams to find out what size antenna is recommended to pick up the UK beam.
