Fixed Sly Sports 1 to UK instead of ROI.
Entered correct PIDs and extra params for 'At The Races'.
Added Sly Sports HD4 on suggested TP details (Still In Test)
Added extra 18 red button channels to Sly Sports Interactive bouquet (Experimental).

Any applicable updates also added to SID Assigner bouquets.
 
Hi mate. I have a bouquet called 'Sly Sports Interactive' this contains the 18 red button channels. The channels you mention seem to be duplicates of these channels.

As for watching games that Sly have no license to broadcast, I am very interested in this. Could you expand a little please ?
Did you watch the game live at 3pm on sunday ?
If so, did it carry Sly graphics, EPL graphics or none ?
Did it have commentary ?
What happened at half time? was there adverts or pundits ?

My only explanation for this is these channels could be the Republic of Ireland versions of the ones I have included and this may explain the screening of 3pm games ???

It was live, the Sunday 3pm game. Audio was there but I had to go to Bulgarian & choose that & it started, in English, not Bulgarian! There were two of each audio (english/bulgaria/german etc) but only one of the bulgarian worked. It sounded mono, very hollow, my mate said on his system it only came out of the right speaker, I have an amp so it came out of both as it's set like that.

My mate tipped me off. Weird thing is, on the freq dets he gave me I got nothing, so downloaded Likras pack & voila, it appeared on 1386, on 1385 everton's game was on too. The freq dets looked the same but as it was 5 mins to kick off I couldnt check them in dbedit to see if anything else was different.

It's clearly the foreign live feed & its raw. No graphics, ads or pundits, links or anything. Before the game just a shot of Turfmoor & at HT the same shot then the highlights reel you sometimes see when watching a foreign tv channels stream. You could hear the commentators throughout, asking how to pronounce players names at HT too.

My mate who told me about these said theres often games on these channels from Likras set, always the foreign feed.

I was made up, needless to say. I wanted to scan through them all next weekend but didnt wanna swap bouquets & dont know how to take from one bouquet & add to another. A simple guide on that would suffice for me if poss.

Oh, one more thing. It swapped to the Chelsea game, with full stereo sound dead on 90 mins, so had to watch the last two minutes (injury time) on a stream. Dunno if it always does that.

Hope this helps mate. If it gives us some more games on our boxes all is good. Though I just bought a motorised dish off eBay for under £40. Bargain!
 
I know that this has happeneded at least once earlier in the season. It was midweek fixtures that time and every game was available. All it was was that Football First was broadcast live, though it would not be accessable to sky digi box owners as the required red button choice would not have been there.
 
This is definitely the foreign tv feed. No graphics & that highlight reel at HT confirmed it for me.

If they do this every Sat 3pm I'll be in footy heaven.
 
Its not foreign mate, its the raw feed sent up by the EPL. Normally, it's then processed by the providers across europe who pay for it, then it's retransmitted with their own graphics, commentary,pundits and wot not attached.

The fact that it's available on 28e to Sly Sports subscribers is awesome. It will be interesting to see how many games actually appear. Just a shame we've only got a few weeks left. I'll certainly be looking out for it. Thanks a lot for the info, its very interesting. As mentioned these channels are now available in the 'Sly Sports Interactive' bouquet in v2.7 released at the top of this thread.
 
I've just been checking them out now, you can view two tennis matches & a tournament board also. That's two more feeds than you can get off Sky normally, as only one match is shown on SS2 at present.

Hopefully this is the case every week with the footy!

Shouldve made myself clearer, I did mean that by foreign feed, as in intended for foreign boardcasters.
 
Honestly lads it does not happen every week. I checked a few times after I noticed the first one. Checked both midweek and on a Saturday. As far a I remember some were Sky-Bet and some were test cards and others were what was showing on the others SS channels.

hahaha. Nah, fair enough, figured it was a long shot, otherwise it'd have been known about by now!

The fact it happens even occasionally is better than nothing though!
 
yeah I agree it's gotta be a cock up really, as it actually puts Sly in breach of contract. Something for the feed hunters to play with at least.

It's just what i needed, but i'm getting "service not found pat"on the 3D channel and this should be coming through as it is a full package including full HD package ??

Not yet mate, it hasn't launched yet. It runs demos now and then otherwise you'll get SID not found in PAT when its not broadcasting.
 
I believe you need sky to switch it on too, you call them & they ask what 3d tv you have then if it's compatible switch the demos on.

They're not showing footy 3d on that channel yet. Though I saw shots the other day of someones tv with footy 3d on through a dreambox so it's on a frequency somewhere anyway.
 
You're quite right about the switch on thing, but I'm not sure if the Dreambox bypasses this as I've seen the channel showing the demo's several times since it started at the beginning of April.
 
Ok im a little confused guys as i read on there site (sly) that if you have full HD package you automatically get 3D without having to upgrade? Maybe im getting all this wrong ?

One more question i have before i call sly to have 3D activated is does my card have to be in my box for when they send a signal or does it not matter?

spoook, you're right, if you're a HD customer you can ring and have 3D activated. You will not see football on it, as that's only for pubs.

If you're gonna make the call, have the serial number of your 3D TV at hand and I would recommend you put the card in your sly box.
 
Can anyone tell me when I switch to the HD bouquet I cannot see EPG for current programs on any HD channel.All the HD channels are greyed out as compared to the bright white I get on all SD channels. Now I do have a valid HD subscription so this is not the problem. Also when I use single EPG and multi-EPG view on the HD channels I see all the EPG is there. So why can I not see the current programs when I switch to the B16MCC HD bouquet. I'm using Nabilosat 0.12
 
HI mate, can you detail exactly what you're doing please mate ? For example,
Are you using DreamboxEdit 3.0.0.0 ?
Are you importing my bouquets into another set you already made ?

I've come across many strange issues when importing bouquets, especially with HD channels. If I import my Sly UK bouquets into the bouquet I use on my DM8000 , all the HD channels come across as sub services and turn blue in DreamboxEdit. This is obvioulsy wrong but I've no idea why it does it. Maybe it's just a bug in the software. Please give us a much info as possible and we'll work through it.
 
i don't think this is a fault in the file you have supplied which I load through dreamboxedit. its nearly like there is a HD setting that needs to be ticked in the epg setup to allow epg to be shown for HD channels. strange one. anyway I have updated to Dream Elite and this problem has now disappeared. So it must be an image problem rather than being any issue with your bouquet set
 
That was my next suggestion mate. In case you didn't know, the one and only image programmer from Nabilo is now Dream Elite. So you should now be using Dream Elite if you previously used Nabilo.
