hi eventually got them to work just wondering is there a way to make the channels the same as there sky numbers as mine are BBC channel 1 instead of 101 and a big thank you to the maker
 
Channel number 1 is only there for the panic button function on Blackhole images. You'll find the whole point of these bouquets is that they do match the Sly UK EPG numbers. If you press 101 you'll get BBC1.

has anyone noticed lack of audio on all MTV music stations. everything else is fine execpt these channels. can anone post the audio pids for these channels. thanks
 
I have no explanation for this yet mate, to fix them, just flick through em and press Audio (Yellow on DM8000) and select the alternative audio stream on each channel. If I can fix it, I will.
 
I came across this, but just selected audio on the remote and then selected ENGLISH and it was fine, only happened on 5 or 6 channels.

I finally managed to load them up but when I enter 101 and OK it takes me to Sky Real Lives rather than BBC1. If I enter 501 again does not go to SKY news.
If I enter 3 it takes me to BBC - is this right? just reading earlier posts it seemed as if 101 would take you to BBC1

By the sound of things your settings are wrong in Dreambox Edit.
You need to tick the box to allow duplicate channels before you load the channel list.
 
a different query. some time back i indicated that i do not get epg shown for HD channels when I switch from one bouquet to the next. however if i do a single epg or multiepg lookup i have 7 day epg available. now i look in dreambox edit i see that all hd channels are data services. if i scroll over any of the hd channels i get the message 'this is not a regular service, but a subservice of a multiple service'. is it possible i need to set something in dreamboxedit to allow the channel to be treated as a normal channel for epg viewing.
 
of course i had fully re-read the thread i would have noticed that b16mcc had said that he had noticed this problem. i wonder is it possible to change the type from data to tv for all hd channels and will this solve the problem
