Have you tried adjusting the optical delay on the sky box?

Nabilo BH11 is well outdated now and many drivers have been updated. Maybe this is the problem. Try DreamElites newset Blackholeimage. A lot of improvements have been made with the EPG since BH11

installed new image. newest gp one. still got a lip sync problem. downloaded audio sync program but dont know to configure. any ideas

Have you tried the above?Or try adjusting the delay on the DM,it's in AV settings

I have had significant lip sync problems with Sky HD. I have had 2 replacement boxes after routine Sky advice to reset the audio delay did not work. As the sound lags behind the vision, it is not surprising that this method did not work. I am having a mini battle with Sky who claim it is my TV (Sony Bravia Z5800). This cannot be the case as my lip sync issues occur with this TV and a multi room TV in a different room. Furthermore, I have no issues with Freesat TV or bluRay. Customer services at Sky don't deliver on any promises to do with escalating the problem and the advice I receive is inconsistent. I now want cancel Sky because watching movies is not a pleasure because of the lip sync issues. I and am now having a disagreement with Sky about my right to cancel.

I would appreciate any advice. I would urge people to complain if they feel it is a Sky issue.

this may be wrong is there a way to see if this is set on pal output and not ntsc??
i have some old digital boxes not hd and the output can be changed to ntsc to receive a pal signal.
using rca cables on a american tv ntsc the color looks verry good.
but after 5 minuts the audio is out of synk with the picture.
after 5 min it locks in synk and after 5 min its out again.
if you channel change it locks again.
if this has a scart cable try that and see if the problem is still there as well.
just some ideas

HI M8

With regards to sky I've personally had a couple of problems with and the first time i finally gave up as it was impossible to get my problem resolved with them so i cancelled. After i reconnected with them i again had the same issue that was about them screwing up my DD.I finally got the problem sorted after sitting down and writing a letter to the customer correspondence dept..all the phone calls in the world will not fix this problem i found myself getting really wound up with then nevertheless my problem was sorted via mail in a week flat and was more than compensated for the time engery put into it.the addy is on the website they will call you back very quickly and these peeps have the power to get it sorted.hope this helps
