So would I. At the very least, he should have offered to relocate your dish if the H&S risk was deemed to be an unacceptable risk. And yes, let the engineer bashing commence, but let's not tar us all with the same brush.

Ultimately, if he hadn't DONE what another poster had said he should have done (new dish, quad, twin cable, install box with download, connect phoneline) then you don't give him a signature. End of story.

I have (as a Sky engineer) advised folks that if they don't WANT to change the cable (chased into the wall, installed by an independant, etc) then a Stacker / Destacker might be a suitable alternative, but let's face it, for that kinda money there's other alternatives too... like a DDU which offer much more benefits in the longer run than a stacker. So far as I'm concerned a stacker is only useful for those occassions where it's impractical to start rechasing cables.
