Hi again to all and many thanks rolfw for his help.
I had a tech over yesterday to take down my old dish (1 metre) and put up a new one (1.25). I have now now got good signal on 2d 100/60 but even so the smaller dish did a good job coming in at 50/50 on the
2d stream.
I have it installed for sky+ but at the moment I am still using my old pace ds430n. The signal on "signal 2" came straight through (as rowlf had said) with the two feeds coming in.
However, I have one more question that I would like answered (if possible). I went straight into the installers menu to see how the new sky+ box compares to the old pace ds430n. The only thing is that when i put in the frequencies (in this case 10.773/10.744-H-22-5/6 fro the bbc and rte channels) I do not get any read out for the 2d stream. So where the old box shows me 100/60 07fd, the new one shows me nothing but stays at the default level as shown on default transponder. The 07d4 doesn't even change to 07fd. Could this be related to a lack of card. At the moment the sky+ is not activated with any card and is working as a freeview.
