Hello all I have a standard sky box with a subscription,I know I am eligable to get Sky+ FOC I like to plan ahead so I thought I would buy a Sky+ HD box but will this work on an ordinary SKY+ without a subscription upgrade.

As long as you get it 'Paired' To your card yes but don't forget to tell them to switch the 'recording feature' on.
