Skybox F3 boot problem

Hi,

I have bought a Skybox F3. As far as i can tell its not a clone.

After about ten minutes i froze the picture and i got the info "scrambled" and many times the box reboots by herself,
and it works for about ten minutes again.

I tried a bunch of different firmwares, with similar problems. But now i tought i had found a firmware that worked.
But after about 1 hour i got the text "scrambled" and the box rebooted again.


Anyone with a solution for this?

The only reboot I've experienced was due to me allowing the F3 to overheat by standing it on top of another hot box. So make sure you have plenty of ventilation - the F3 consumes 30W and is a fairly small unit.

If, however, you are using it as a Client, perhaps the glitch is rooted in Server issues .............. and that is about all we can say on that particular topic!

Thanks Tivu for your quick replay, yes i've a good ventilation around the box, the box works well but reboots many times by herself i also have openbox S10 and S11 and never got this problem b4. I use it as a clients with C-lines with a good server i never have any freezes or glitchs, so i guess thats will disappear with some new firmware soon.

My f3 reboots itself if i try to activate more than 2 c lines at the same time.
otherwise its fine - hope that helps.
