Hi im new to this forum so I dont know if this belongs in this thread
basically when I set my timer on my skybox f3 it records fine but when it finishes recording
my skybox switches off
is there a setting somewhere to stop the box from turning off after recording

Welcome to the Forum!

I've started a separate Thread for you.

I've noticed this myself, but from what I recall it doesn't always happen - I suspect it behaves differently depending upon whether you set the Timer by pressing Green in the EPG Menu or by doing it entirely via the Timer Setting sub-menu in system setup.

Personally it doesn't bother me much it's only a single Tuner box so there's nothing else happening anyway (ie It doesn't turn off after Recording Channel A and interrupt Channel B while I'm still watching.

I tend to add two or three minutes padding at each end as well as the programme timings never match the published times.

Just had a play and whichever way you set the timer it refers to "Wakeup Channel" and "Wakeup Time" which implies that sleep will resume after the "Event".

I cannot recall whether this was different under older Firmware.

Sorry not to be able to provide a magic bullet.
