Just manually add the ones you want.

I suggest you do them all in one session as the F3 adds them all at the end of the list without any further option to re-order them!

I started from 42E and worked West to 30W adding all those I thought I'd get and later found a few others which then are tacked on as an afterthought. Annoying.

And do Dump your TP-Prog file every now and then so you don't have much to lose if the box gets angry!

When you look at your satellite list, i found i had 15W at the top of mine,if you add the missing ones in the future it will be interesting to see if they just add on the bottom. My bottom sat is Azerspace 46E as that was the last one added, just above that is 45W, we have no way of sorting them on our f3's as yet.

Well, there is the dreaded Channel Editor Tool .................... !

Maybe that claims to do it (As a precursor to bricking the Box, obviously)

No no: On the Download Site is a PC based Channel Editor tool, so you can Dump your TP_Prog list and manipulate it more powerfully than with the simple on-Box Editor.

The Tool is a menace as everyone I know who has attempted to use it has, upon re-uploading TP_Prog the Box has rebelled and got stuck in Boot Loop.

All boxes have their quirks and foibles, and this particular one is v.v.irritating.

Hi
Live in central southern norway am locking all the astra 1N TPs but not the astra 2F TPs, just very fine weather lock with pixellation on my hummy hd 2000.
Setup 100cm offset motorised with inverto black ultra quad coax length max 10 meters.
Question is do you think this box will lock astra 2F TPs for me?

Regards

Its dfficult to know really, the receiver locks at very low SNRs which may help you. As you know ultimately its down to weather that dish is collecting enough signal. They are cheap (over here in the uk anyway) which means its not a loss really if it doesnt help you greatly as its such a good receiver.

I am not finding this box very good at driving my motor atm, maybe new F/W will sort it,
not a big problem, ive just connected it to the extra feed on my 1.2, when I get the time I will try it on the v box,

I am very pleased with the blind scan and that was my main reason for getting it :-).

I might pop and get an openbox tomorrow for the 1mtr and see how that goes,

Really? I worried about how such a wee little box might cope with driving a motor but it's been absolutely fine with the 80cm, although it does need a Vertically polarised target Channel to induce the 1.1m to move, on occasion.

(I know that seems contrary as you'd think the 18v for a Horizontal target Channel would give added oomph, but it's the current sourcing that is the root of the problem, I guess, so at 13v the current will probably not be as limited)

Where did you get this from Martin? I need a new S2 receiver and this might fit the bill.

I had a similar problem a few years ago tivu with the eagle box, they did something with the f/w that did improve it but it was never 100% right,
like ive said though its not a problem to swap hdmi port on tv and I am chuffed with the blind scan :-).

{ScratchesHead} That's an F5S, Martin - I thought you'd got an F3S ?? {/ScratchesHead}

Presumably he sells both?

If you do have an F5S we'll need to lift and shift all the Posts to a separate Thread (after I've had my Fish & Chips!)
