skydigibox problem

hi new to this so please bear with me, i have a grundig gd5310/2 box on which the red standby light keeps flashing slowy and will not turn on any help welcomed:confused:
 
More than likely power supply capacitor failure.
 
hello,
try to remove the satellite cable going to the lnb.
if there is a short it could cause this as well.
if the box is isloated from the satellite and the problem is still there its the box doe sure.
if the lnb or line is shorted it may be in protection.

Its a Grundig so 99 times out of 100 its failure in the power supply capacitors
 
box goosed for sure
 
belive it or not it sworking again i think the the problem was lack of volts to the house not un common out here thanks to every one who has replied
