I bought a Digisat which enabled me to successfully align my dish on Astra 2
using a Pace digibox.When I connected a Skyplus box it was not possible to
obtain any signal whatsoever.Is it possible to explain the reason for such
differing results.

My Satellite Setup

Did you connect both LNB inputs on the Sky+ Bill?
One is for the recording function, the other is for the normal viewing function.
