SkyStar 2 Problems?

Hi I brought a SS2 about 2 months ago.

Anyway I have been having some small problems with it. Basically it will work fine & I can watch/record FTA TV without problems. However sometimes the picture will start to break-up as if the satellite signal is low, i check & it says the signal is 50-60%.

I uninstall the card in teh device list & re-install the drivers & it will start working OK again, then at a random point (After hours/days or sometimes a week or 2) it will start playing up again so I again have to re-install the drivers.

Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Something which i initially thought was that my PCI Capture Card (WinTV Stereo) could be causing some sort of conflict? If thats the case I may buy some sort of USB Capture card as i use that almost as much as the SS2 card.

That sometimes happens me but I notice in the bottom right hand corner beside the Date/time a green CPU meter which is going up to 100%. This generally happens if I have a couple of applications running at the same time. If I turn some of them off , My skystar 2 goes back to perfect. I also have an AMD 2800 running at normal speed.

Thanx for the reply's. I don't think its down to the CPU as i checked that 1st & the CPU usage never went over 50%.

I did however for another reason change my PSU & it seems to be working fine now.
