Sly + record judder Help please !

I have an Amstrad 180 $ky + with 2 good signals from the lnb the picture for live tv is perfect yet when I record the picture or sound jumps.

I have swapped hard drives & done the "Housekeeping thing"
I have also done a forced download of the latest software but this the same fault.

Does anyone know a way to fix this, I am out of ideas?

Your help would be very welcome...
 
Hi,

It sounds like you could need a 'De-frag', I'm not certain but it might solve your problem.

Defragmentation... Press 'Services' on your remote,

You will then see a Sky screen, there you need to scroll down to option 4..System Setup' and press 'Select'

Then with the remote press '0' then '1' followed by 'Select'

Scroll down to option 7 'Sky planner Rebuild' and press select.

Hi Misterminibus. My Amstrad is doing the same. Have tried all the usual tricks, but still no joy. Just had a quick look on Digitalspy. 174 pages of discussion on one thread on this case.
