It's official, most of us on the forum are small dish men or mini dish men.

Elite Antennas who make the Carlsberg range of satellite dishes have classified all dishes of 2.4m or less as small. One of their latest products is the Type 201 dual axis polar mount for small antennas described as "for use with antennas up to 2.4m in diameter". A link to the document is pasted below.

Accordingly, I have adjusted the bandings in the dish man classification table (listed below)

Dish Man Classifications (IMHO)
3.5 metre or larger - Ultimate Dish Man
2.5 metre to 3.4 metre - Big Dish Man
1.6 metre to 2.4 metre - Small Dish Man
1.1 metre to 1.5 metre - Mini Dish Man
0.75 metre to 1.0 metre - Micro Dish Man
Less than 0.75 metre -- Nano Dish Man

It's not just the size, but what you do with it .........

Mine is kept in the dark in an outside shed?

What if you use all the sizes listed????? Does that make me a ""Multidisher"".........Ohhh...New word for the tech dictionary.

The only thing kept in the dark around here are the salesmen that manage to get through the front gate, they are kept in a deep dark cave.

I know what I do with mine....waggle it from side to side and up and down.

Who's got one of those fancy jobbies for swopping over the business end?

^^^^^^

I thought yours was hidden in a remote corner, out of sight of the neighbours?

It's in the corner of my garden but it's very much seen by one particular, annoying, neighbour...
