smargo + sky card

in 2 weeks i will be user of smargo [yes to late] but point is there is frequency to choose in this device and oscam /ccam will need that. When we put sky card to internal reader cccam is setting that automaticly even when frequency setting is # what about then using smargo + oscam what frequnecy for UK and Italian card
and what oldest image i can use? kernel 2.6.12-5.1
