No Solly, nothing happens with Tricolor. Sometimes, English is a confusing language... :)

For those in UK who can't receive the (now FTA) Rikor transponders on 60° East...
The much stronger, similar Rikor transponders on 62° East are also FTA now!

I have friends tell from 1 November off transponder on 60e
I don't know about 62e will be stay
 
Oh I checked 62e the other day and they were all encrypted. Thanks for the heads up! Doubt it will last long..

Well it was encrypted in Verimatrix, which suggests cable distribution, though according to Russian forums it has no relation to Rikor. I guess with Rikor closing, cable headends need another source for the channels. Nice package nevertheless. I would happily pay a proper sub for it, if it was available.
 
Today, the 40 channels on 62°E are encrypted again.
On 60°E, all is still FTA but about half of the channels is showing colour bars, some of them still with the TV channel's sound in the background.
End is coming...
