Depends what dish is attached , Offset or PF (picture)

You will have to do some modification no matter what dish you have, take a look here it will give you a idea how to do it correctly.

That must be some beefy motor to carry a 2.7m Laminas

2.7 is to big for the SMO it will break it unless in a very sheltered location

Dish is pfa Prodelin 2,4 m. On german forum I read that smo 36el rotates 2,4 CM without problems

Personally I wouldn't install a big heavy dish like that on it, yes it will move it ok, but it will wobble like a jelly and might take flight in a strong wind, these dishes should be on a 6,5 inch pole and mount.
