Here,s a picture of my dish taken today at 4pm with snow piling down!
amazingly i,m still getting 70% quality on 11862v on 7w with a good coating of snow on the dish...will clean it again soon for the third time today!!

5pm now and i recon about 2inch covering on dish..and still 69% quality on 11662v...gonna see how thick it can get before i lose lock..lol..little things..

6.20 now and 4inches of snow on dish..still got 60% quality!! darent leave it any longer now in case the dish bends..lol..

Ive had about 4 inches on the surface of a 1.8 similar to that before it lost that tp, its a strong one, though a lot further south than you. Very surprising to be honest, thought it would stop working as soon as it got an inch or two.

PM dishes have a much better rain/snow margin than offset.

considering my location and the fact its a fortec star i,m amazed!! nothing seems to knock the verticals out!, city 7 on 11976v was still showing 70% when i took that picture
