Current for the last few days Sky News international on 19 east has been unavailable for a few minutes at around 0820 (Spanish Time - 0720 UK time)..

I put this down to a solar outage... like the one we have for 28 east at around 1100 for the last few days, but as all other channels on 19 east are fine, and at the time the sun is no where near the Astra 19 satellites, I can only assume this is a solar outage on a feed satellite?

Does this seem correct, and if so, any ideas which satellite is being used as the feed?

Probably just a coincidence but Sky News Int has just moved to 1N a couple of days ago.

I love these mysteries!
19 East 12604H is uplinked by SES, Betzdorf probably.
From there between 07:15 and 07:20 UTC, the sun is near 68.5 East, Intelsat 20.
That happens to have a BT package (including Sky News Int.) in C-band on 4064 H.
So if Betzdorf uses that one...

I have noticed it happening for a number of years now - so nothing to do with 1N.

I have been meaning to post about this for a few years now, but never got around to it - but today another person mentioned it to me - they have an 80cm dish, a few kms away from me and also noticed it dropping out at 0820 in the last few days, with all other channels looking fine.
