I have done some research on the site and it seems that I require a:
Matrix Reloaded Cam
Blue Titanium Card
Phoenix Programmer.

Some followup questions if it won't wear out your patience :)

1. What's the difference between a MR 1.55 and 1.80 cam?
2. Is it possible to upgrade a 1.55 to 1.80 by plugging it into the PMCIMA slot in a laptop?
3. What card programmer would you recommend for the BT card?
4. Where can I get a good price/quick service for these items.

TIA for any help.

2. Is it possible to upgrade a 1.55 to 1.80 by plugging it into the PMCIMA slot in a laptop?
This works in some laptops which have PC card (16 bit) PCMCIA compatability. Try this thread:

3. What card programmer would you recommend for the BT card?
You need something with a phoenix mode. See this thread:
http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/forum/showthread.php?t=10805
4. Where can I get a good price/quick service for these items.
Where in the world are you? Good price and quick service may be mutually exclusive :) .
