Songwriter Les Reed has died aged 83.

He was the composer of many crooner classics such as Delilah and It's Not Unusual for Tom Jones, and The Last Waltz for Engelbert Humperdinck.

Also, songs written by Reed were recorded by, among others, Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby and Shirley Bassey.

R.I.P Les

R.I.P. Les, you certainly penned some classics in your time, just reading the names of the songs invoked music inside my head
