SKY Arts i a channel i have. I never knew you could do that on the Sky box. I deffo owe you a 8 pack of lager.

Adding channels like that will put them in the "Other Channels" section of the Options menu. It would be much less faff to use a generic satellite receiver, rather than a Sky box.

why dont you just perform a FULL rebuild - wouldnt this bring in all the available channels for @FOGGIE

The Sky 'home' transponder that contains the channel list and EPG data is on the UK beam which the OP can't receive. There may be a way around it by changing the default transponder but I don't know.
 
Try and get a generic sat receiver for 50 or so euros and then perform a blind scan search to see what u can get

From the hidden installer menu (where you change the default transponder), if you select Manual Tuning instead and enter the 11836H details does it show signal?

If you get a non-Sky receiver you can run a scan and all the receivable channels will be found in one go.

Sorry but there's zero chance of BBC or ITV from 28.2°E in Tenerife with a 1m dish.

Thats me addicted to find new frequencies & channels ..lol

If new ones pop up where i can get CH4 . E4 CH5 or any similar ..please let us know.
