Are there any Spanish channels that can be picked up here in the UK (north of England) via Satellite?

I used to watch TVE which came in I think via Eurobird on Sky, it used to be something like channel 790 near to the French channel (TV5? 799?). but unfortunately they stopped carrying it.

Cheers,
John

Three choices, Astra 1 - not far from Astra2/Eurobird but you would have to subscribe to the majority of them.

Hotbird, but the choice of channels is limited (but you would get TV International and one other)

And Hispasat, but its way round to the West.

What size of dish do you need for Hispasat? Looking at their graph it looks like the signal should still be okay for most of the UK.

With all these Spanish channel being on Satellites all over the place though I am guessing a motorised dish would be best for this. How much would it cost to subscribe to the paid for channels and where would I find out info like this or buy the channel packages?

A 60cm is fine. Not sure if my dish would pick it up well. Wall in the way!
