Spanish Digital+ help please

I hope there is someone who can help a real novice.

I have a Spainish wife who would like to receive Spanish tv - as many of the channels the better. I have been looking at Digital+ and the most basic subsciption possible (I cannot find out how much this is?). I have an address and bank account in Spain I could use. Would I be able to get the receiver out there with the card, bring it back to the Uk and then get someone to fit the appropriate dish and set it up (how much would that cost?)? Also, I have a basic Sky System too so would it be fiddley switching between the two?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Yes the best thing to do is organise the box in Spain and bring it back over - if you use a uk based reseller the cost will at least double.

You will require an additional dish aligned onto 19E, or one dish with 2 lnb's on it set up for 19E & 28E. Any competant installer can sort this out for you.

In fact many of our members are installers so unless you live in a really remote corner of the UK chances are one of our lads wont be too far away.you
 
Thank for that. I am based in Essex, Southend-on-sea. Is it easy to switch between the Sky and Digital+ on the TV or will it be fiddley.

I will wait for some Essex installers to be in touch!!
 
If its set up properly it should be simple to switch between boxes.
