Spaun switches - uk supplier ?

Hi friends ..
Are there any UK companies selling spaun products ?
Not sure such a 'creature' exists ....and like the elusive inverto black ultra series of lnb's ...I'm already expexting the ' no uk stockists' reply..
But I figured it couldn't hurt to ask

I'm after a diseqc 4 way switch (SAR411F) ...
I'm aware there are many similar devices available ...but I'm after the lowest insertion loss possible ..
Spaun quote 2db typically ...whereas most other brands are around 4db.

If you are swayed by cheapness and compromise, I took delivery of a 4 Way DiSEqC 2.0 Switch yesterday that claims to have a 3dB Insertion Loss.

£5.90 inc. 5 F plugs and "free p&p"

Yorkshire mode .....................


(Not had the opportunity to use it yet as my waders aren't long enough)

Just took a quick diversion to their site...
..Looks very much like a trade only type setup ...not unlike Grax ..?

Whilst I am in business ...I'm not strictly satellite ...although my trade is connected .
I don't have a problem with signing up with them ...but many such companies require 'minimum spend' etc in order to qualify...whereas my order would likely be a one-off ;)
Do you use these guys ...and what are their 'account' requirements ?

Usually I'm with you when it comes to purchasing in 'Yorkshire Mode' ;)
The reason I was prepared to spend a little more to make the switch practically 'invisible' to the system ....was that this particular series of switched feeds ...are for the shack ...rather than just watching TV.
The shack being the nerve centre of my operation ...where I scan for feeds ...weak signals ...and plan my moves for world domination ...
(he said as he cocked a little finger into the side of his mouth ..and stroked his white cat) ....so maximum signal and low insertion Humping..loss is paramount.

I don't think you'd have a problem ordering the one item. Of course you'd have to swallow the carriage. Why not drop them a line. It's been a while and not sure if he's still around but speak with Tom.

As far as i am aware Teldis are the only supplier in the UK :-Nooo

Have you looked at the Global Invacom range. Thats all i use now due to reliability issues with other makes

you could have a look at this though, Its in Germany but to be honest you never really seem to have any problems with the germans

Got my Inverto single Black Ultra through Grax in Trafford Park, Manchester who have them in stock. Cost me about £12.50 for the single.
