hey chaps - got myself a cheap 9000 with the F100 error, i thought i'd be able to bring it back to life with the recovery procedure, however, 2 pc's with comms ports and 3 different RS232 cables (2 straight thru, 1 Xover) didnt wake it up from the dead

do i chuck it, or is there another way to bring it to life?

i saw a comment about JTAGGING - maybe i should just bin it, seems like a waste though.
