This is no way an advert for Alshat but impartial advice! This new box is supposed to have the same Options as the HD9000 series with the same OSD, but is claimed to be faster and with more features. This also explains why the price of the HD 9000 has been much cheaper recently!
Personally if given the choice between the 9900 and a Protek MK1 I would buy the Protek!
Mind you I recently purchased a 9000 for only £160! So if anyone is out for good deal, now is the time to buy a reduced HD9000, who knows they could even drop down to £120 or less!
So if you were considering buying A HD9000 for £189..........Don't!
