I just bought a Katrein UFS912 digital receiver, and I'm not able to get certain channels that are listed on KingofSat. For ex:
Astra 1M 11582.25 H 25 Astra 1M PAL
That's the transponder for FTA Sport1 that I'm not getting (I am getting Sport1 in encrypted DVB-S on different transponders, however). Is this an analouge signal? My receiver has only options for DVB-S and DVB-S2, not "PAL" or anything like that.
 
Yes sport 1 on 19.2 East is an analogue channel

You cant get the analogue channels (PAL) on a digital receiver.

Sport 1 is fta in digital on 12480V 27500 3/4

Perfect, thanks. Strange, when I did an auto-scan on 19.2E it didn't pick up for some reason, but when I did a manual scan I got it.
 
New to this game......

Got astra on 19E ... I've got Sport1 and I'm looking for TV listings for this channel....Can anyone point me in the right direction?


Looking to see if any of the F1 is covered on this channel.

Got RTL for one channel.......Looking to see if any other channels cover F1.

Sport1 does practice I think. Read it somewhere.

Yes, we believe Sport 1 will carry F1 Practice Sessions - but when you say you've got Sport 1, I assume you're referring to the digital version? (This Thread relates to nearly defunct Analogue Channels).

If so, we have a dedicate F1 viewing Thread here http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/jimbos-football-sport/196588-f1-free-2012-a.html which has as much info as we've been able to collate. Further contributions welcome!
