I recently received this email from a lad in Australia.

I came across your site looking for advice on painting satellite dishes.

I have just moved into an apartment complex that does not have satellite tv, and the provider refused to install to one unit alone, and wants AUD$20,000 to install a 'backbone' for all units.

Your page on hiding satellite dishes inspired me to paint my dish and put in on my balcony. I bought a new dish for $29, painted on some bricks and away it went.

Now Ive had a page on the web site about painting dishes for a while, and he obviously found it & sent me some pictures - this really is a masterpiece of camoflage

There is a dish there I assure you!

That is where I saw it exactly where SM said Top floor, left flat, right of the patio doors

but it is a good result

provided you use a paint containing no metals or metal oxides such as lead there will not be a problem.

I think thats a BBQ - theres a green gas canister in front of it.
