Sqish Quad / Delta MSD 58N - workable distribution system

My Satellite Setup
Sqish Duo, Freesat/FTA
My Location
West Country
I have a Sqish twin LNB which works fine, but obviously I am limited to two feeds. I would like to expand that to at least 4 or more.

I can easily upgrade my Sqish to a new Quad Sqish and get 2 more feeds - but could I go further and use a Quad compatible Multiswitch (like Delta MSD 58N) and get more? Sqish don't do a Quattro, but the Delta clearly states that it handles a Quad.

Before you ask - I use a Sqish because the building is listed and I can "hide" it, something that would not be possible with a 60 or 80cm dish.

Any thoughts or comments welcome.

Cheers

No reason on paper why it shouldn't work, although I'm not sure what the through loss on the delta multiswitch is, you may possibly need an IF amp.

On paper the loss is "0...-2" dB on the Sat side and "2...4" dB on Terrestrial side (in active mode).

If I did need to amp - where would I do that:
i) before the Multiswitch
ii) between the Multiswitch and the room diplex wall plate (can you do that?)
iii) or after the wall plate and before Sat receiver?

regards

They are normally installed just before the multiswitch, but this is something you can try first, then add the amp/amps if necessary.
