I have a SkyStar2 PCI card connected to a Moteck SG2100 and use ProgDVB to watch channels.
About 6 months ago, I upgraded the SS2 drivers to the BDA versions, and found my DiSEqC stopped working, or at least my usual method of using MiBi's plugin was no longer relevant. I kinda left it alone, and didn't look into fixing it until now.
I removed the SS2 drivers and installed version 4.4.0 again, and then installed ProgDVB 4.56.2 which I used to use with MiBi plugin v1.10.

Now I cannot detect any signal. If I use MiBi's plugin to move the dish, it works as expected. My dish is pretty solid on the wall, so whilst I won't rule it out, I suspect movement isn't the issue.

I'm at 0.3East ad 53.9 North so have set the config in MiBi and moved the dish to Thor 2/3 or Hotbird, or Astra 1A, but MiBi shows no signal in the 'Tuner Info' section. I used to be able to use this to check the frequency I was on, and use the Max Signal search to locate the strongest transponder, but now it finds nothing.

My cable from the SS2 to the motor must be good, and so must the Windows drivers otherwise the motor would not move, correct?

Does this sound like a duff LNB?

TIA

Well, I just replaced my LNB, and it made no difference. Any other suggestions anyone?

Open circuit on the patch cable between motor and LNB? Have you tried connecting the cable directly to the LNB and not through the motor? If you have a Sky installation have you tried connecting the SS2 to that and tuning to 28E?

Hmm, I think I'll get some more cable and make myself a patch direct to the lnb then, good suggestion. Also need to remember who I lent my signal tester to....
