Standalone Diseqc control boxes

Hi everyone

I wanted to get a standalone control box for my motor. Mine is one which runs off the 13/18v from the receiver, with the command going through the LNB cable. All of the control boxes I can find seem to be for 36v actuators... I was looking at one which says it is for H-H mounts as well as actuators but am I correct in thinking this is still not necessarily right? Do boxes that do what I want to do even exist or am I missing something? Thanks for any help...

Another option, get a Linux box such as a TM500, you would then be able to control it via the web interface.
 
It would help to know why you want a separate Motor controller - but the cheapest and easiest way is to use another (cheap) Receiver for the purpose.
 
Thanks guys. It was mainly to take the pressure off my SkyStar 2 which I'm worried about frying and which also seems to be a bit touchy, and for the ease of use, but at that price it may be better just to use the SS2. A new one is less money than that control box! I didn't realise the control units cost that amount. If I can get it going I might be joining you guys with the new year midnight chasing again ;)
