Tornados happen in England. So much in fact that, depending on how you look at it, England has a claim to the title of tornado capital of the world. But don't go building a shelter just yet

"Tornado Alley is just east of Reading"??.....thought that was Tomato Alley....blimey, the UK press are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.....which is located near Widnes apparently....

The UK press and indeed media in general, are allowed to report what they want when they want whether it is true, false or indeed a blatant lie. This is not something new it has been going on for decades, indeed I understand journalists are taught to create this kind of distortion of the truth in order for them to propagate on the web and trend to gain extra money for the company involved, using clickbait techniques etc. The regulator IPSO makes it almost impossible to complain as I have previously personally discovered when a reporter for our local rag printed a pack of myths and lies when Muslims in Blackburn blocked the main dual carriageway in Blackburn for an hour, running up and down the blocked cars waving Palestinian flags in protest at the retaliation by Israel against the rocket firing Hamas militants in Gaza.

Widnes does Widness does not, however, that aside, creating sash windows was always a skilled and time-consuming job, just shows the appalling standard of journalism these days.
