but can anyone tells me what's the use of the latest software???
for what purpose shall we update the software?

Hi there. I too have star track world in box II+ci
I can not seem to get any software on it, the message i get on Arioner.exe is the its looking for ack and then just stays there and nothing happens on the reciever. Thats with full nullmodem cable as well.

I have read the guide many times without any help, my main purpose is to be able to use magic cams etc on this reciever at the moment they dont work and i bougt it in 2004 around november never been updated.

for freex no way to get it. but full x you have to update again with the correspoding software :_http://www.starsw.com and it will come back

Using the search function or using the link on the first post would have given you the answer

HI! I can't update my receivers (2X arion clone 1700), although the last 10 months I had no problems doing that. I changed my harddisk on my computer and since then nothing! The only thing I see is when I choose the right com port (com1) is the red power light when i do the update procedure with arioner. this happens with both my receivers. I have default settings for my com port and reduced buffer sizes to 1. Any suggestions?
 
Sorry I forgot to mention that I reinstalled WinXP. And also that I don't get any error messages either way.BTW what happend to Rockchangs site?????? I can't enter it.
