My Satellite Setup
starcom sr-c6
My Location

Hi all,
i have starcom sr-c6 receiver.
but i don't know how to update that?
it just has hot-bird satellite in it's list!
could you please help me on updating it?
where to download files? and how to use them?

Unless your setup is motorised you can only view one satellite at once unless you have a monobloc or multiple lnb's through a switch. Therefore why would you want to upgrade the software, what do you perceive this course of action could gain you.
Normally extra satellites and hence channels are added by moving the dish to point at the correct satellite then scanning

do you know anything about the cable?
 
Not really it looks like a four port motherboard connector not the same but similar to a CD data connector more than that I do not know never seen one on the outside of an stb before
 
i know what connectors to use!
but i don't know how to connect pins together!
i mean the number of each pin on the back of receiver!
 
If I have never seen one before how could I know anything about it?

Try contacting the manufacturer, although you may need to learn Chinese
