I have just moved into a newly built house in Northern Ireland and wish to pick up sat tv channels but im not interested in sky's hefty subscription charges..

Been reading about motorized dishes, LNB's, cams, receivers all sorts and am a little confused!

At present the electrician wired the house for sky+ in two rooms with these running to the gable wall. So I understand to get a full scope I would need to purchase a motorized dish (min 1 meter in size) and 2 generic receivers with cams/cards and recording capability preferably HD boxes.

Can anyone recommend me a good type of kit for the job or better still point me in the direction of a good installer that operates in Northern Ireland?

Im guessing £300-800 range would sort it?

I am interested in viewing:

All the local FTA channels
Sport mostly English and Scottish football on basic subscription if need-be
English films and anything else going would be considered a bonus

I understand the important of good equipment and expertise so I am willing to pay for good gear installed without going crazy top of the range..

Don't think I have overlooked anything but if i have feel free to point it out.

Please help
