Strange problem with a DM500

Could of course be a tellie problem as well :)

When someone in a tellie program starts to speak their voice slows down so You think that all are falling a sleep. Voices goes down into the low register.

Could be a problem with the tellie or with the dreambox.

Anyway it is very strange, never seen this happen before.

Think I will hook up a dvd to the tellie and check if it is the set or the box that gives those strange sounds.

Anyone else heard about this ??
 
What you describe sounds a bit like clipping, I have experienced this when the input threshold is too great and overloads the audio circuit of the TV. Try reducing the sound output to TV from the dreambox and see if that helps.

Alternatively take more water with the scotch ;)
 
Thank´s Topper for the first idea. well worth testing.

The second one is nothing to even try :) There are more family members hearing the same problem, and they better don´t tuch my singel malt:p

Doubt it was ever the cause I was thinking more in terms of it lessening the effect :cool:
