Strange programme name

AH the easy to open one - they never seem to change their key :D

CJ...try a K in front of the name and read it in English.....

It looks like NOBTOP (KNOBTOP) to non-cyrillic readers.

Puerile, I know, but it raised a giggle.

Just trying to get peeps talking, its quiet at times, I thought most of us that move dishes about chasing weak signals etc are juveniles at heart ?

Next time someone annoys me I'm calling them a Повтор. :D

a Повтор.
Actually, if you squint your eyes the П looks a bit like a T, the в like a German ß and then dylexicise the тор, it can also be read as TOSSPOT.

When I was trying to figure the joke I was like like er.... "Ob... Top?!" Simply because I couldn't relate the capital letter П (P) to a lower Latin letter n....

My turn to be juvenile. Rimant will appreciate this:

For non-Russian speakers... We have a saying: "vot suka blyad'". Vot - sort of a prefix. Suka - bi*ch. Bld - a shorthand term for blyad' (wh*re).

:D

I did indeed and went back into Edit to correct the fault only to find that I couldn't. The TOP became a MOP. Curious.

If I read post#16 in Latvian, tahat would be "atsūkā" means "отсоси" in Russian or "suck" in English. And meaning of bld CJ already explained
