Strange reception report on 2D

I have been contacted by one of my customers today saying he was flicking through channels on his skybox on Friday 17 Nov around 12.00 CET..
He said,to his amazement he had perfect reception on BBC1&2 and ITV..This reception lasted for 1.5 hours!!!
Has anyone else in fringe areas experienced similar signal increase on 2D reecently?

He is using a 1.8m offset dish.:confused: :confused:

Weird things are happening on 2D lately.....I normally have an excellent 2D signal on my dish around 10.00 CET but tonight it started breaking up around 10.05 and lost the signal completely in 5 mins...30 mins later it started coming back...The weather is excellent,not a cloud in the sky!!!:confused:

by the way....where is DS forum?
