Streaming from dreamdox 500 to pc using VLC

Hello all !!!
I know it can be done to stream from my dreambox to my PC in my bedroom on a local network.
I have dreambox 500s and installed VLC on my pc.
I have been all over the setting in VLC and Dreambox and tried it all :(
I found how to record to my pc and change channels from my pc but cant watch on my pc???
oh ya, when and if i get it to work with your help, when i watch on the pc ch 107, do i have to watch the same ch on dreambox??? "question from my hunny"

oh ya, befor i asked i looked on this site but found only streaming to the net, is that the same as local streaming?
 
Try Dreambox VLC Streamer 1.2. It'll automatically bring up VLC and your chosen channel when set up for your particular Dreambox. Search online for it.
