Streaming movie from PC to DM500HD

Hello All,

I have just changed my DM from DM600 to DM500HD. I would like to know how to set my DM (ENIGMA2) to stream movies from PC to TV. I think I have to mount my PC HDD using mount manager option on DM but I am not sure how.

Can anyone help me out please?

Ist, share your directory on the PC
then use network browser and when you find the share name, just hit OK
 
Thanks for your reply. I did as you instructed and after some tries I managed to see on DM the list of shared folders I have on my PC. After I selected the necessary folder DM proceeded with mounting this folder. Now my question is where do I go from here. What is the next step which will allow me to play the movies I have stored on my PC?

menu, media player
select from list on left hand side, the folder of the pc
select movie, press OK
to get to the list of movies on the right of the screen press one of the bouquet buttons (probably up)
 
my problem now is that only the internal flash folder is listed on the left hand side but there is no sign of the pc folder. Could you please shed some more light on this problem.

Hi,
Have you tryed to remove the power from the external hd and put it again ? It's the problem of the hd faling a sleep (look at the configurations on that subject)
